I got my first cake-order.

For a friends-club (7 persons), I had to make a cake for their 2-monthly visit. The hostess ordered a cake and mentioned that one of her guest had celebrated her 80th birthday on boxing day. Maybe I could do something with that, although it should not be a birthday cake...

So I made this cake:

and they liked it very much...

Birthday cake

Yesterday, my dog had his first birthday. And like I do for my family, I mean he's family too, I baked a birthdaycake. This time the theme was dog with bone. I git the idea from a book from Debbie Brown. And this is the result:




The bone is covered with sugarpaste. The dog is made from "marsepein".
Unfortunately for the dog the cake was not for him, since there was chocolat in it. He got his special bowl with wipped cream...

Last weekend mu mother celebrated her 76th birthday. Tome to make her some pies and cake. I started with a lemonpie:

Happy Birthday

My Brother had his birthday last friday, but we celebrated it yesterday with a halloween party. So of course I made an appropriate cake to go with it. This time I did not use sugarpaste but marsepein, because of its "extra" flavouring taste.

Goodbye

This week I had my last lesson of making clothes. To say goodbye I baked and decorated (with sugarpaste) a cake. Although sad to leave, the cake was a big success.

First christmascards made

I started making some christmascard. Because off my full agenda I thought I better start early, to make sure I will have enough by the time I should sent them.
